To discover the magic of this land and experience the smells and tastes of these products, we offer a tour to see the entire process of the production of the cured ham. This tour starts in the pastures of Extremadura and ends with tasting of the product.

1. The visit starts in the meadow where we find a landscape of hundred-year-old trees inhabited by some very special and unique animals. We will learn the different breeds of pigs, as well as the origin and varieties of the Iberian race.

2. The next step is back in the drying place, where we will identify the stages and the care that each of these pieces are subjected to, in order to reach their unequalled gastronomic value.

3. Once we have learned the habitat of the Iberian mountain pig and the curiosities of the treatment of this delicious product (5 years = raising + treatment), we will pass on to the most pleasant part, the tasting of all of the products in a restaurant. This is where the participants will learn to distinguish between the different types and qualities of the Iberian cured ham.
